Like I said last week, Charlotte is always a busy week. On Friday we had the JGR Fan Fest and it was huge success. I don't know how many people were there but it was a bunch, more than last year. Then, Friday night I had my fan club outing, I think about 500 of my fan club members attended. I really enjoy the opportunity to spend time with all the members of my fan club. They are a big reason I like being a NASCAR driver.

I have to admit it is nice to write about a fun and successful weekend at the track. It's hard to believe that this is our best finish since we won at Martinsville, but that is how the season has gone. A race like the one Sunday was just what our team needed. The car was good all day and we had great pit stops. The car was a little tight on that last run and I just couldn't catch Jamie. I really hope this will be a stepping stone for the rest of the season. It certainly shows that we can run up front. Although I'm a little disappointed that we didn't win, I'm certainly happy that we had good run, led laps, and finished 2nd. Now we head to Martinsville where I think we did pretty good last time.
