It is always fun to go back to Texas. I get to see old friends, visit with everyone at Interstate Batteries, and enjoy being back in my home state.

The racing part of the trip wasn't exactly what we wanted though. Friday was great! We won our second pole of the year, even though we went out early. It sure does feel good to start at the front of the pack on Sundays.

Sunday, however, wasn' t that good. The car started off a little uncomfortable and we continued to work on it all day. The car was really running its best when I got caught up with Rusty and then had to make that green flag pit stop. After that it just got worse.

Hopefully, Talladega will better to us this weekend.
