Snowy Bristol, Labonte fast in practice

BRISTOL, TN (March 25, 2006) - With cold temperatures and even snowfall delaying track time at the Bristol Motor Speedway, Bobby Labonte has managed to put down some fast lap times.

In the first practice Labonte placed 32nd on the speed charts running 121.635 MPH with a lap time of 15.775. After a short break, the #43 Cheerio’s Racing Team made some adjustments in order to make the Dodge better for Labonte to drive. Because of the hard work, Labonte was 3rd on the charts in Happy Hour with a speed of 123. 483 and a lap time of 15.539.

The green flag for the Food City 500 drops at 1:30PM on Sunday. Bobby starts from the 30th position after qualifying was cancelled because of inclement weather.
